Why do I need to reset my password?

With the new DEWALT website, We’re updating our security to improve your privacy and increase your protection, and as part of that we need all our users to reset their passwords. It’s easy to do - just follow the prompts in the message you see when you enter your login details. 


What will change as a result?

Only your password. None of your other account information will change in the slightest.

What happens if I don’t reset my password?

Unfortunately we’ll have to close your account and you’ll lose all the benefits of being registered with DEWALT, like getting extended warranties on certain items of DEWALT equipment, receiving news of updates and deals before everyone else, and being part of the international DEWALT community where you can leave product reviews.
